Potential Sponsor:

Once again, the Colden Trail Riders Snowmobile club is offering a club sponsorship program to help promote local businesses and raise money for the club.

Monies raised will help defray the yearly expenditures of running our non-profit club. These expenses include things like routine maintenance and fuel for our fleet of grooming equipment which includes; Bombardier SKS 252, Thiokol 1450 Super Imp, Thiokol 1440 Imp and Bombardier Skandiac. Sponsorship also helps with other costs such as postage/mailing services, excavating, materials (lumber, barb wire, gates, chains, locks, trail signage), insurance, trail clearing equipment and costs related to upkeep and service this equipment.

Our club sponsorship program’s first year was a great success and we enjoyed hearing all the positive comments from riders, neighboring clubs and directly from the sponsors themselves based on feedback they received.

With your help, along with volunteers of the club, we are able to provide a network of trails that allow riders to enjoy the beautiful countryside of the Town of Colden and connect to other areas of Erie County such as Boston, Hamburg, Sardina, and Holland. It is great to see the growing number of families out enjoying the beauty that our state offers.

In addition to contributing to the recreational sport of snowmobiling, our club is also involved in several charitable fundraisers. Once again we helped sponsor the Variety Club Sledfest Poker Run held at The Colden Lakes & Resort, stops included The Fireside, The Hearth, and The Holland Willows raising approximately $4,000 for Variety Club. We worked with 103.3 WEDG and Berts Motorsports on January 26th where over 195 riders covered 50 miles. In March we approved our sponsorship of the youth soccer team at the Town of Colden Recreation Department.

These events are all made possible due to having the availability of a trail network. The sponsorship program assists us in making that possible. The sponsorship period is for the upcoming riding season, December 15, 2007 through April 1st, 2008 The estimated Number of Registered Snowmobiles in the Erie County area is up; in addition to out of town riders coming through our trail system, or riding from our local hotels.

For a donation of $200 we will provide a 1foot by 3 foot sign to be located at one of our trail intersections on a Trail Sponsorship billboard. The sign will also appear on our website with a link to your site if applicable, along with recognition in our newsletter.

Thanks in advance for your consideration in support of our club. Should you have any questions,
please feel free to contact John Hewsen 941-9284.
