WELCOME TO
THE COLDEN TRAILRIDERS
IN
THE SNOW CAPITAL OF
WESTERN NEW YORK
The Colden Trail Riders are a devoted group of volunteer snowmobile
enthusiasts dedicated to the promotion of our sport. We are responsible
for the design, maintenance and grooming of over 35 miles of snowmobile
trails in the Colden, NY area. Our trail system encompasses Colden;
along with portions of Boston, Sardinia, Holland, and Concord. Our
trail system is on state trails C4 and C4a, which provides access to
many other trail systems in the area.
Club members volunteer their time to build, clear, mark, and groom
trails all year long. Marking, clearing, maintaining, and in Spring,
trail teardown, is no easy feat. Without the time and energy of our
club members, the sport of snowmobiling would not be what it is today.

At a
recent New York State Snowmobile Association meeting, it
was said that Colden Trail Riders have some of the best marked
trails in all of New York State. Currently the Colden Trail
Riders have several pieces of snow grooming equipment to maintain its
trails. Plans exist for trail widening, re-routes and future
equipment purchases to improve riding conditions and future
destinations within our system. The Colden Trail Riders meet monthly on
the second Monday of each month at The Colden Lakes & Resort, 9504
Heath Road Colden,
NY 14033.
General meeting time is 8:00pm.
